PCFallon.com Redesign Launched for the Holidays
by Mike Calabrese. Posted on November 24th, 2009 in Groove News, eCommerce Web Site Design
We’re happy to announce the recent launch of our latest eCommerce website design: PCFallon.com. We first met the owners of P.C. Fallon at the Internet Retailer Conference in Boston back in June this year. Groove took a look at their website during a free consultation and offered a few suggestions to improve P.C. Fallon’s usability, design and conversions. About a month later, Groove and P.C. Fallon decided to work together on a new website. The goals of the new website were: 1. Make the P.C. Fallon brand more consistent, 2. Structure the navigation better, and 3. Increase their conversion rate with a streamlined and usable design.
It’s a little overdue, but Groove Commerce would like to introduce P.J. Gill as our new Client Services Director!

Welcome P.J. Gill
P.J. brings to Groove years of client service expertise gained from providing accounting and consulting services to a wide range of companies.
A graduate of Lehigh University and a C.P.A., P.J. started his career with a Big 4 accounting firm in New York City before the sweet smell of Old Bay (and his now wife) convinced him to move to Baltimore. After several years of public accounting P.J. took on a consulting role focusing on business performance management, and budget and forecast development.
When not at Groove headquarters P.J. can be found spending time in Federal Hill with his wife, Dorothy, and their French Bulldog “Iggy Pup” or running in Baltimore.
Welcome P.J.!
Groove Commerce Welcomes eTail Attendees to Baltimore!
by Mike Pantoliano. Posted on July 31st, 2009 in Groove News
As retailers head into Baltimore for eTail East, we at Groove Commerce would like to extend our warmest welcome to the those that will be in attendance. Baltimore is the city that fostered our growth as a company, is home to many of our employees, and is a hotbed for many of the country’s forward thinking web companies. Yes, “The Wire” was filmed here, our Orioles are an annual disappointment, and the construction in downtown will drive you crazy, but Baltimore didn’t earn the nickname Charm City for nothing! Read on for some of the can’t miss spots in the city, and look for us in the “Got Groove?” shirts at the conference.
After getting a Groove Commerce eCommerce website consultation at the Internet Retailer conference in Miami back in January, the people at Jeep 4×4 decided they wanted us to make some of the changes we had suggested. Our job was to build a design template that increases conversion, while leaving the functionality of the site untouched.
Wanna work at Groove Commerce? We don’t blame you!
Groove Commerce is looking to add another developer to its team and would love to hear from you.

Baltimore Web Developer
As we are headed through one of the worst economic times in our countries history, I am excited to say that many of our clients are having their best months ever… Why? They are being aggressive online and not letting the word ‘recession’ come into their vocabulary. Whether you are selling a product or service – there are always better ways to make your website play an active role within your business.
We would like to thank all our clients and friends for their help and support along the way!

PubCon South Recap
by Ethan Giffin. Posted on March 17th, 2009 in Groove News, Search Engine Optimization, Social Networking
What an amazing three days last week in Austin, Texas for the inaugural PubCon South. Billed as a regional internet marketing show, PubCon was sold out prior to the event. Not too shabby for a first time show. With a great turnout and some great minds the only negative was the weather, which was 40 degrees and rainy.
Groove recently launched the complete redesign of online shoe retailer, eFootwear. eFootwear moved from Monster Commerce over to Groove’s customized ASPDotNetStoreFront eCommerce platform. The before and after’s on this one are amazing – check them out below:
