Groove Commerce was recently brought in on a big project by Ollie Interactive for some custom development work. The client: La Prima Catering, a top catering company in the Washington D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia metro areas. La Prima wanted to upgrade their site so that their customers could place orders online, rather than just over the phone. They needed an eCommerce site complete with custom functionality that would ensure absolute attention to even the smallest details – and they needed it fast!
Some of our custom development work included:
- Central ordering portal that sends orders to different La Prima locations based on customer’s zip code
- Added functionality to the system to notify the correct kitchen with an e-mail in a format that can be imported into an automated system for simple processing
- Streamlined checkout process that allows customers to set date and time of delivery
Since their launch, La Prima has been reaping the benefits of having a streamlined, user-friendly eCommerce site. We wish them the best of luck in continuing to serve their customers some great food!
