Quickly Test Your Websites in Internet Explorer

Ever wonder how your website looks in different versions of Internet Explorer? If not, you should be. Unless your visitor base is particularly tech-saavy, the majority of visitors to your website are going to be browsing with different versions of Internet Explorer. Most of our clients have 70%+ of their visitors using IE.
Since you can’t have different versions of IE on the same computer (at least not that I know of), testing browser-compatibility across all versions may seem like a daunting task. I brought up this issue to our head designer, Rob Spangler, and he helped me out. So I’m passing the information along to you!
The clever little piece of software is called IE Tester. It’s a quick and simple download, and it’s extremely easy to use. After you’ve completed the install, type in the URL of your website and which versions of IE you want to test it in. You might as well check them all at once, which is what I’ve been doing. I would have to agree with this post, I use this program as well! I have always wanted something like this for years! This has been a problem for as long as I can remember. You can also find out what percentage of your visitors are using which browser & which version from your analytics software, like the free one from Google. The program is awesome!
