We are coming upon our six month anniversary this week, a milestone I am excited to celebrate. Many people have asked me why I haven’t been blogging more. The answer is easy… We have been busy. Busy working on client projects. Although I rarely admit such things, I am truly amazed by where we are and extremely proud of my team and their successes so far.
Over the last six months we have:
- Hired a team of 3 more full time people and 3 part time
- Had our first employee quit (due to relocation)
- Signed on 15 new clients
- Launched 4 new client sites
- Have 9 sites soon to be launching
- Setup a complete office with 5 work stations, networked storage, printers and a pbx system
- Been quoted in the Baltimore Business Journal (twice), Sun Paper, Potomac Tech Wire and Smart CEO Magazine
- Traveled to New York, Florida (twice) and San Jose for Search Engine Strategies
- Been invited to speak on two upcoming panels (Pubcon and Baltimore AMA)
So where does that leave us? Excited on our progress. But still working to help a half-a-dozen new clients (hint,hint) before the end of the year to reach their goals.
Though we are busy, you have to stop and smell the roses every once in a while. How will Groove Commerce be celebrating? The team will be attending the Greater Baltimore Tech Council’s TechNite this week. TechNite is a once a year celebration by the GBTC with networking, dinner, and a award show.
