I know it seems that such minuscule amounts of time are of no concern, BUT it's not about the time it takes for the the eye to move from label to form. The point is the time it takes for a user to cognitively comprehend the label and form. And when eyes are darting back and forth (increasing eye tracking time), it means it's taking longer to comprehend what is expected of them. And the longer it takes for them to understand, the more likely they are to bail on filling the form out. That's the benefit of eye tracking. And you'll never know if everything is "organized and well designed," without doing eye tracking tests yourself or reading about such results.

(Granted, label placement isn't the only thing that effects a user's comprehension of the form-- form size, wording of labels, dropdown/radio button, required fields etc. etc. But in order to get every aspect "right," you have to start somewhere.)

I can see how eye tracking could be important, but the amount of time one spends looking at this word versus another place, is so small, many users don't realize it (hence you have to use software to track it) and I do not see how it would affect sales. As long as everything is organized & well designed.
